It's certainly been a heck of season so far for Sebastian Vettel.
The German Formula One driver has seen his Red Bull team go top of the Drivers' Championship and then he came in third at the Hungary Grand Prix on Sunday.
So it was little wonder he felt like flying high as he dived into the sea on his much-needed holiday yesterday.
Vettel, 23, was snapped leaping into the air off a diving platform in the Mediterranean sea.
And he executed the perfect finish as he glided smoothly into the water.
It was also a romantic trip for the young man who looked loved up with long-term girlfriend Hanna Prater as they frolicked in the sea together.
The couple are enjoying a break on the Italian island of Sardinia, a destination that is proving very popular this summer with high-profile sports stars and other celebrities.
Vettel and Hanna looked very loved-up as they played in the water and chatted in the sun on the diving platform.
They met while at school in their home town of Heppenheim, but they have kept their relationship fairly private.
When once asked why she never attended any races and why she was absent from his debut win in Monza in 2008, he said: 'Never bring your girlfriend to work with you.'
Hanna, 22, is studying textile and design in the German town of Baden-Wrttemberg.
Speaking to German newspaper Bild last year, she said: 'We live 400 kilometres apart but we see each other all the time.
'We have known each other since school. I was in the year below him. I am just so proud of him.'
